After captivating audiences across North America during their annual tour, Ailey II returns to The Ailey Citigroup Theater. For the first time since their sold-out season in 2007, Ailey II will perform new works and repertory favorites in their home theater.

Ailey II is universally renowned for merging the youthful spirit and boundless energy of the country's best young dancers with the passion and creative vision of today's most outstanding emerging choreographers. Under the artistic direction of former Ailey dancer Sylvia Waters, the company combines a rigorous touring schedule with extensive community outreach programs, both to critical acclaim. By continuing to establish an extended cultural community through dance performances, training and community programs, Ailey II embodies Mr. Ailey's pioneering mission to bring dance to the people. In this way Ailey II continues to invigorate the American dance scene as one of the most diverse dance companies in North America.
