Latino Arts Festival at Rutgers University Tomorrow

 

 

                                              

 

 

NEWARK, N.J.  Rutgers University in Newark will host the 2nd Annual Latino Arts Festival, Estamos Unidos; United We Stand; will commemorate and celebrate unity in Latino culture. In conjunction with; Rutgers-Newark Latin Caucus and Latino Alumni Association, the Festival will showcase a variety of traditional dances and performing arts from every region of Latin America, food, prizes, and giveaways. A highlight of our event features the Community and Health Resource Fair to take place during the festival. The fair will provide on-site HIV/STD testing, as well as information and resources available to students which otherwise may go unsolicited. The Latino Arts Festival is partnering with public and non-profit organizations to raise awareness about health, higher education, financial aid, academic, and internship opportunities.
