Makers Of Memories Fundraiser Event For Families That Are Victims of Domestic Violence

Makers of Memories will be hosting an event on Monday May 4th to benefit the Essex County Rape Care Center (ECRCC) in order to ensure that this wonderful organization has the funding needed to continue to provide a truly life changing experience for children and young adults at critical time of need and  right in time for Mothers Day.

Please see a previous clip from a Makers of Memories event covered by NY1:

MOM provides victims of domestic violence with a much-needed opportunity to escape their situation, giving them a chance to form strong, powerful memories that will change their lives forever.  This escape may be the family's first, and possibly only, vacation together.
The organizations founder is Brian Martin is the CEO of out of home based media company Brand Connections - named by INC. Magazine as one of the nation's fastest growing private companies. The decision was made to begin MOM because as a child Brian's mother was a victim of domestic violence. He did experience it full fledged growing up. However one of the few good memories that he had as a child was that of a family vacation.MOM provides hope for the future for children who otherwise never would have had this opportunity. Please see the event details below and do let me know if you can cover before hand, feature, or will be attending for press purposes.
