MIAMI , April 19 /Businesswire/ - El Car Wash, known for its rapid expansion and status as Florida’s premier Car Wash operator, hopes to accelerate its message toward a more inclusive future.

The Miami-based company will host its “Wash for a Cause” event to raise awareness and funds to support its neurodiverse hiring program and neurodiversity in the workplace. El Car Wash will donate a percentage of its car wash sales from its Miami locations, specifically Bird Road, Coral Gables, Coral Way, Pinecrest, Sunset, Tamiami, and West Gables on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st to CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disabilities.)

“Driving a more inclusive workplace culture and creating employment opportunities for young adults with unique abilities stands at the forefront of our company,” said VP of People & Culture Jia Kruger. “We value people and provide them with fulfilling careers and share a deep commitment to our local communities.”

“From the inside out, we’ve built a mindset that our entire employee body stands by and believes in -- we don’t just feel good and drive clean, we do good and drive clean,” said Director of Marketing Carly Klein.

El Car Wash is an official employer partner of The de Moya Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 2015 to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults with special needs. The company is committed to supporting neurodiversity in the workplace and continues to partner with organizations such as S.T.A.R.S. Global and the Center for Autism & Disabilities, that raise funds and awareness for individuals on the neurodivergent spectrum.

Customers can visit El Car Wash’s locations on Bird Road, Coral Gables, Coral Way, Pinecrest, Sunset, Tamiami, and West Gables to participate in this special promotion. To support, text “CARD” to 22322 and purchase a single wash of choice at any of the participating locations.
