Generate Capital Announces Expansion of its Innovative Infrastructure-as-a-Service Customer Solutions Platform

SAN FRANCISCO , April 19 /Businesswire/ - Today, Generate Capital (“Generate”), a leading sustainable infrastructure investment and operating platform, announced it will expand the solutions it provides customers by incorporating key elements of Alturus, a pioneer in providing sustainable infrastructure to multiple Fortune 500 companies.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service enables companies to decarbonize their operations rapidly with no upfront capital investment while eliminating ongoing operational risks and responsibilities. Generate has been a leading provider of these solutions for multinational and municipal partners for a decade. Together with Alturus’ deep customer experience and pipeline, an expanded Generate Customer Solutions team will identify, develop, implement, and fund infrastructure projects for multinational corporations, municipal customers, universities, and school systems. Infrastructure-as-a-Service programs provide energy, emissions and cost savings that are scalable across facilities and geographies. The combined team will continue building projects from traditional energy conservation measures such as lighting, HVAC and on-site renewables, to more complex energy and resource efficiency projects.

“At Generate, we have always believed the transition will be built asset by asset and customer by customer. Generate’s approach has always been to constantly seek out the technology solutions and infrastructure upgrades that will help businesses, schools, and cities achieve cost savings, resilience and decarbonization,” said Generate CEO and Co-Founder, Scott Jacobs. “We are excited that this capability expansion brings important expertise to the projects that we develop for our partners.”
