Small business owners rally for public health and immigrant inclusion

HUNDREDS OF SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS SPEAK OUT FOR A PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN AND IMMIGRANT INCLUSION IN HEALTH REFORM AND

ANNOUNCE HEALTH REFORM POSTER CAMPAIGN

WHAT:

Press Conference with small business owners in Queens who have organized themselves to achieve health care reform that truly works for small businesses.  
Small businesses urge their Congress people to go back to DC and fight for health reform that includes a public plan and immigrant inclusion.  
Several small business owners will tell their stories in front of a local coffee shop, unveil new poster campaign, and use of a stamp on coffee cups.

As part of these August recess efforts, Small Business United for Health Care has organized a poster campaign where 500 businesses in New York have placed posters in their windows showing support for real health care reform with real coverage, shared commitment, the choice of a public plan and immigrant inclusion. H.R. 3200 contains critical elements that will benefit small businesses.
