Black Businessman Annouces Candidacy for CA. Governor

SUCCESSFUL CALIFORNIA BUSINESSMAN AND HUMANITARIAN JAMES O. MASON ANNOUNCES HIS CANDIDACY FOR GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN 2010

Elect James Mason For Governor of California in 2010

James O. Mason

Palo Alto, CA (BlackNews.com) - James O. Mason, Executive Director of Newbie University.tv, announced today that he will be running for Governor of California in the November 2010 election.

Mr. Mason, although new to politics, is no stranger to public service and has served a long and distinguished career in public service, having served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years, a Special Deputy / Sheriff's Dept, a Fire Fighter for 10 years and a Fire / Safety Technician / S.E.P. Manager for the Federal Government for the past 10 years. He has also served as Vice President for the Federal Employees Union.

When Mr. Mason was asked "Why the Governor's Office?" here's what he had to say, "It's going to be open soon and we are going to need to make sure that we put someone in there that can think outside the proverbial box.

We have some difficult challenges ahead of us here in California. No question.

Desperate times call for, not desperate measures, but Pro-Active, Innovative, "Outside the Box" Thinking Ideas. And I've got just the plan for us.

In order for the State to Grow and Prosper, we'll need to make some changes.

Let's face it friends if we continue on our current path, down this slippery slope, a path fraught with Debt and Despair, things are going to get much worse before they get any better.

Many folks are feeling hopeless wondering If, not when, but if things are going to get better. Wondering when things are going to Change.

Fact is folks, Most, Not All, But Most of the Challenges we are facing boil down to "Budget Issues." Not Enough Money! Well, We Can Fix That!

Today we embark on a new journey, a journey that will not only move us toward economic recovery, but to true economic prosperity as well.

Now that we have "Friends" in the White House it's time for us to get busy bringing Creative, "SHOVEL READY", projects and programs that create Jobs and other opportunities as well, to the table.

We Need to Start Running this State like a Business, instead of like some sort of out of control charity organization that's lacking Vision and Leadership.

Ladies and Gentlemen Alert: THE CHEESE HAS BEEN MOVED. WE NEED TO FIND NEW SOURCES OF CHEESE And I have a Solid Plan to do just that."
