National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA) to Host

2009 Choose Life Awards and National Call to Action Gala

 

Rev. Dr. Calvin Butts, Virginia Fields and André Talley among those being honored

 

– National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA), the nation’s oldest Black AIDS advocacy organization, will hold its annual benefit gala on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m. at The Lighthouse on Chelsea Piers

 

The 2009 Choose Life Awards and National Call to Action will honor a list of leading New York and Washington Black influencers, along with other corporate, health care and government leadership. Former President Bill Clinton is the National Chair of the National Call to Action Committee.

 

Among those being honored and in attendance will be:
