About Twenty-First Century Foundation (21CF)

Twenty-First Century Foundation (21CF) is one of the few, endowed, Black foundations in the United States. For nearly 40 years, 21CF has worked inside communities, bringing stakeholders to the table to define the issues and provide programmatic and capacity building solutions to addressing these issues. The nation's largest foundation committed to Black cooperative self-determination, 21CF has been an option for Blacks and others to contribute to community-based solutions that work to advance the welfare of the Black community. In addition to strategic and collective grant making; special initiatives and research; donor education and donor services, 21CF also catalyzes and invests in regional and national opportunities to coalesce focused leadership leading to change that positively impacts more Black communities nationally.
