MONTVALE, N.J. – …The Pathmark Gospel Choir Competition will once again honor Black History Month on February 27th at the World Financial Center – Winter Garden in New York City by bringing together top choirs to showcase their vocal talents and compete for $10,000 in prizes.

Now in its 10th year, the Pathmark Gospel Choir Competition is coming off of one of its best years, as more than 15 choirs from throughout North America rocked the Winter Garden with the winning team hailing from Montreal, Quebec in 2009.  In advance of the 2010 event, Pathmark is seeking choirs from churches, schools and community organizations to audition for the 2010  competition, which offers both a Youth Division (18 years or younger) and an Open Division.
