FREE TAXPAYER ASSISTANCE AT THE DOMINICO AMERICAN SOCIETY IN CORONA QUEENS

 

What:

The Dominico American Society and Food Bank for New York City are offering free online tax preparation and filing assistance to taxpayers who earned $30,000 or less last year. 

 

Trained volunteers will be available starting tomorrow at the Dominico-American Society to help prepare federal, state, and city tax returns for free using software available through the IRS and NY state Free File Alliances.  Many could be eligible for a refund of as much as $4,700.

 

Where:

The Dominico-American Society is located at

40-27 97th Street
in Corona, Queens.

 

When:

This free service is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 12pm to 5:00 p.m. until April 15, 2009.
