The game featured high flying dunks and dazzling dribbling as the Globetrotters once again defeated their rivals, The Washington Generals. WGCI Morning host, Tony Sculfield and WVAZ on air personality Ramonski Luv were added to the Generals roster.
Chicago Bears defensive Tackle Israel Idonije received a load ovation when he joined the Globetrotters on the court during their football routine. The big guy missed his first shot, then missed a dunk attempt, but on the third try, he made a lay up.
A special on court presentation was made to Secretary Of State Jesse White by Globetrotters CEO, Kurt Schneider, who thanked the Secretary for his support of the team and youth.
