Hispanic Corp.Leadership Program Branches Out

IRVINE, CA - The Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL) has announced its 2011-12 High Impact Hispanic Leadership Training Programs for America’s corporations. According to Annette Prieto-Llopis, Director of Client Relationships, “we have reached a critical juncture in America's Corporations, where Hispanics must have their own identity in order to deliver more impact, higher performance and authentic leadership influence. One size does not fit all anymore. Corporations must begin to create the infrastructure to support authentic Hispanic leadership to propel new types of innovations and opportunities for growth.”

CHL’s two day High Impact Hispanic Leadership programs will deliver a culturally tailored experience for optimum participant engagement and impact. CHL’s 2011 featured high-impact training program, Discover Your Hispanic Leadership Impact and Influence, will include several new elements to accelerate its proven ROI performance that CHL’s curriculum delivers. First, CHL Founder/CEO, Glenn Llopis will be conducting all High-Impact Hispanic Leadership Training sessions. Second, bonus content will include Mr. Llopis' keynote address: Why Hispanic Leadership Matters in Today's Brave New Workplace. Third, CHL will introduce its Hispanic leaders' roundtable and networking session so that participants can learn from the personal and professional experiences of other Hispanic professionals and their success in the workplace. Finally, CHL will be expanding its case study and reality-based situational analysis exercises.    “Our training program delivers a 360 degree experience to ensure the long-term retention and workplace application of our proven principals and methods for Hispanic leadership impact. Our track record has proven that participants experience a renewed awakening of their Hispanic talent potential,” continue Prieto-Llopis.

The post 2008 global economy requires America’s corporations to prepare their workplace for the demands of the fierce competitive global market. While Hispanics are reshaping the footprint of America - there is still a valuable Hispanic Leadership gap in America's Corporations. As a result, there exists a Hispanic Leadership crisis in the workplace and the facts speak for themselves. First, Hispanics overwhelmingly assimilate in the workplace and thus are not given the opportunity to be their natural selves to propel new types of innovations. Second, Hispanics represent the fastest growing workplace population, with dynamic growth and purchasing power - estimated at $1.3 trillion by 2014. Yet, there are not enough Hispanic Senior Leaders spearheading initiatives to capture this growth potential. Finally, research indicates that there remains a crucial gap in addressing the needs of Hispanic leaders on the national stage. According to a recent Pew Hispanic Center survey, 74% of Latinos polled said they either didn’t know of a national Hispanic leader or thought there wasn’t one.

“Hispanics must begin to activate the six natural characteristics that make us great leaders. Authentic Hispanic Leadership is both a business and societal imperative and the time has come for corporations to create the supporting infrastructure to support the immigrant perspective, circular vision, passion, entrepreneurial spirit, generous purpose and cultural promise that Hispanic professionals possess to propel new types of sustainable growth for their organizations,” concludes Prieto-Llopis.
