Partnership establishes IGEL’s regional presence, extending its Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™ and partner ecosystem to enterprises across the market
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — IGEL®, a global software company delivering the IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™, today announced at Omnissa ONE 2026 its entry into the Latin American market through a strategic distribution agreement with Adistec, marking the latest step in the company’s global expansion.
Under the agreement, Adistec will become a new IGEL distribution partner for the region, supporting resellers, system integrators, and technology service providers with technical enablement, training, business development, and go-to-market resources. The partnership will expand access to IGEL across Latin America while helping channel partners build expertise and develop new customer opportunities.
The partnership comes as organizations across Latin America face continued pressure to secure how users and devices access enterprise resources. According to IBM’s 2026 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index, the leading initial-access vectors IBM observed in Latin America included valid accounts, exploitation of public-facing applications, software supply-chain attacks, and abuse of external remote services, each accounting for 25% of observed cases. That pressure is also reflected in recent industry research: Gartner has recommended that CISOs move toward a Workspace Immutable Secure Endpoint (WISE) model, and Forrester’s 2027 budget planning guidance recommends evaluating secure desktop operating systems in higher-risk environments.
