To celebrate 10 years of achievements since its inception, this event combines the sophistication of Havana nightlife at Luna Llena with live performances, gourmet dining, and exclusive experiences, seeking to raise awareness about The Flight of the Kite, the flagship program of the Ismael Cala Foundation. This program trains young people in vulnerable environments with emotional intelligence, conscious leadership, and effective communication tools, which seeks to sow confidence, resilience, and real opportunities for a more promising future.
The Legacy of Light Gala is a high-impact event that brings together benefactors, cultural and community figures committed to social transformation. The occasion offers a space to connect, inspire, and turn empathy into concrete action that amplifies not only the reach of The Flight of the Kite to more countries, but also the opportunity – by 2026 – to implement this program in its Virtual Modality for Parents in order to provide practical emotional intelligence tools to parents and caregivers to improve the relationship with their children, create safe spaces, and foster empathy, resilience, and conscious communication, as well as strengthen the family nucleus, and emotional leadership in adolescents from 11 to 18 years old.
