Washington, DC  – Join the Latino GLBT History Project for their ceremonial awards honoring local and national leaders for their noteworthy contributions: Lisbeth Melendes-Rivera, Marta Alvarado, Maria Cecilia Zea, Gladis Gonzales, Diego Sanchez Luigi Buitrago, Ignacio Aguirre and the Youth empowerment program of La clínica del Pueblo

 
Salvadorian writer J. Fredis Romero, will deliver a talk and sign several of his books including Puñaladas al corazon and Desnudo Frente a mi Pueblo .Romero is the publisher for Authorhouse and also serves on the board of Directors of the Latino GLBT History Project www.jfredisromero.com.
