Mayor of District of Columbia welcomes World Diversity Leadership Summit

The mayor of the District of Columbia, Adrian M. Fenty, sent a warm welcome to the World Diversity Leadership Summit which is taking place September 16, 2009 and September 17, 2009.

The 2-day Summit will explore innovative global diversity solutions.  The conference will cover relevant topics such as cutting-edge global diversity best practices and case studies, as well as diversity legislative frameworks in AsiaAfricaEurope and Latin America. Participants will learn how organizations build and implement diversity strategies, while networking with key diversity executives, leaders and experts.

Mayor Fenty said that “this event will host leaders from all over the world to learn how organizations build and implement global strategies and address challenges, trends and opportunities facing multinational corporations.”

Along with wishing the World Diversity Leadership Summit a productive summit, Mayor Fenty also invited the guests to “visit the monuments, museums, diverse neighborhoods and dine in the fine restaurants as they reflect on their accomplishments.”

Thank you Mayor Fenty for your warm welcome and best wishes!
