Shop, Sip, and Support Social Justice Programs at Five Keys Furniture Annex in Stockton, California, on Saturday, June 22nd from

STOCKTON, Calif. , June 21 /Businesswire/ - Community West Bank is hosting a special event at the Five Keys Furniture Annex (609 W. Fremont Street, Stockton, CA) on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10am – 12pm (the store will be open until 6pm).

All are invited to shop national luxury brands at wildly discounted pricing (up to 90% off), sip sparkling wine, espresso, and enjoy pastries.

Five Keys President and CEO, Steve Good, emphasizes that 100% of the proceeds go to the social justice programs of Five Keys, “Whether you’re furnishing your own home or shopping for a client…shopping now means giving thousands of Californians a home, an education, a job, and reentry – a second chance.”

Five Keys Furniture Annex is one of California’s best kept secrets for interior designers in the Bay Area and the general public. Marble tables which normally sell at $9,500, can be purchased at 90% off, for example. Hundreds of new items are added weekly.

“I am most proud of the fact that our ever-expanding programs, now in Stockton and San Juaquin County, employ dozens of formerly-incarcerated individuals, helping them to restart their lives and reenter society as contributing members. Proceeds from the Furniture Annex also support this new initiative,” said Five Keys VP of Transitional Employment, Dave Bates, who spearheaded the Furniture Annex.

ABOUT FIVE KEYS

Five Keys was founded in 2003 by the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department as the first accredited charter high school in the nation to provide diploma programs for adults in county jails. Today Five Keys serves 15,000+ Californians annually, spanning 14 counties in 17 county jails and 70+ teaching sites. In addition to schools, Five Keys operates multiple homeless navigation shelters, permanent supportive housing programs, transitional employment programs, reentry programs, ecological agriculture training, and housing for women suffering from immense injustice. Five Keys is a second chance employer. Our goal is to restore communities through education and other programs that respond to community needs — which in turn creates safer communities. Five Keys is a California nonprofit. Tax ID: 81-0622701. To visit or donate: www.fivekeys.org
