- Adding an extra layer of excitement to the spring sports calendar is the 43rd Vallarta Soccer Cup, taking place May 1-5 at the Agustin Flores Contreras Sports Complex. Witness teams of all ages from Mexico, the United States, Canada, Argentina, and Honduras compete in an exhilarating showcase of skill and sportsmanship. - From May 23-27, Puerto Vallarta will host 180 of Mexico's best sailors for the 2024 Games of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE). The state of Jalisco is the main venue for the games, and Puerto Vallarta has been designated as sub-host due to the destination's optimal conditions and environment for sailing.
- On June 29 an exciting new sports event is coming to Puerto Vallarta. For the first time, the city will host I Run with Pride Puerto Vallarta, founded on the principle of greater inclusion for sexually diverse people in sports. Over 1,000 runners are expected to participate spanning across the categories of Kids, Youth, Open, Senior and Adapted Sports.
