NAACP Announces Diversity Job Board

BALTIMORE - The NAACP and Personnel Strategies Inc. (PSI) has just announced a partnership to feature a national diversity job board at www.naacp.org. The job board, entitled www.NAACPJobFinder.com, promotes career opportunities to NAACP members and visitors from across America.  The website showcases employers and opportunities from a cross section of industries and locations.

“The NAACP job board addresses our principal objective to ensure political, social and economic equality for all citizens. It also provides a more comprehensive approach to providing racially diverse, qualified job seekers access to a broad range of the nation's top employers,” said NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. “With so many Americans out of work, we hope we can provide new resources and opportunity.”

The NAACP boasts one of the Nation’s most diverse and active memberships. The NAACPJobFinder promotes opportunities to its members and Americans from all diverse communities. For employers this represents an exceptional branding and recruiting opportunity to support their diversity initiatives and recruit from a market of truly diverse candidates.

“PSI has worked with the NAACP producing NAACP Diversity Job Fairs since 1993. The NAACPJobFinder will extend an employers ability to reach a diverse community of motivated and socially active candidates. In addition the www.NAACPJobFinder.com joins the popular NAACP Diversity Job Fairs as a co-sponsor reaching thousands of candidates who attend Diversity Job Fairs across America.” says Mike Hall President of PSI. “The NAACP is being pro-active in helping America get back to work. Like the NAACP, the NAACPJobFinder.com is a trusted brand that provides another benefit for candidates and employers alike. We like the online and onsite solutions being offered by this partnership.”
