NEW GOSPEL CD, THE Q.S.D. PROJECT, CONTINUES TO PROVIDE MUSICAL INSPIRATION FROM THE HEARTLAND

The Q.S.D. Project

Grand Rapids, MI (BlackNews.com) - The Q.S.D. Project continues Michigan's tradition of brilliant musical inspiration. Q.S.D. is comprised of talented artists, Stephen Q. Knight, Shamar Star and Dennis Witherspoon. Stephen Q. Knight has produced and written material for many local artists in the Grand Rapids Michigan area. He is married to Bunny DeBarge of the award-winning group, DeBarge. Shamar Star represents the S in the Q.S.D. project. Mr. Star is a former member of the now dissolved R&B group Dateline, which was signed to Elektra Records in 1982. The group was known for their remake of "Earth Angel." The legendary producer, manager, publisher and songwriter George Tobin, who worked with other artists such as Smokey Robinson, Tiffany and Kim Carnes, produced the Dateline project. Dennis Witherspoon is a producer and songwriter who has written material for the Grammy-nominated Gospel singer Marvin Sapp and many other artists in the Grand Rapids Michigan area .

The CD has a mix of styles and sounds. "Angel" is an up-tempo tune with horns and a baseline that will keep your feet tapping while dancing and getting your praise on. "He's the Way" is a rock inspired call to salvation song with a strong base line and a slick guitar rift. "It's Gonna Be Alright" is an up-tempo soul inspiring song encouraging listeners to trust and believe no matter what your life circumstances are.

The CD can be purchased at the following businesses: Barnes and Noble or Schuler book stores, also by going on line to digstation.com and down loading the project, www.digstation.com/AlbumDetails.aspx?albumID=ALB000019844 and CdBaby.com.

You may view the videos of "Grace and Mercy," "It's Gonna Be Alright" and "Angels" by going onto YouTube.com. Type in QSD Gospel. We hope everyone who listens to this product is blessed. Q.S.D. would like to thank all their fans around the world for their support and prayers, God bless you all.
