Opportunities Part Time Job Fair 2009

“Long lines expecting at Part Time Job Fair highlights struggling economy”

Miami, Florida. For the 5th year in a row, the Minority Chamber of Commerce  is teaming up  to present Job Opportunities for The Part Time Job Fair 2009 to be held next Wednesday June 24, 2009  at the Double Tree Hotel Miami Mart , located at 711 NW 72 Avenue in Miami Dade from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Open for the public and it’s free entrance.

The goal of the job fair is to bring part time positions  in all type of industry to the attention of talented and motivated minority candidates. The Minority Chamber of Commerce Diversity Committee chair Doug Mayorga has said, “We were insulated for a couple of years. But now what has happened, because of the recession, a lot of employees have started to scale back because they're fearful of what's going to happen” expressed by Mr. Mayorga, adding, “Simplifying the Part Time Job Fair  it’s a recruitment effort while putting qualified people to work, so we help companies to accelerate growth and the economy to prosper.

The Part Time Job Fair 2009 is one way of responding to that question. Recruiters are typically seeking to fill college, skill workers or entry-level part-time positions from various parts of the companies. Even if recruiters don’t have an existing position available, they are sure to find promising talent for their company’s next opening.

Central to the job fair are the one-on-one interviews between talented skilled workers, college students, recent graduates and young professionals from South of Florida and beyond are encouraged to register sending an email to: info@minoritychamber.net
