"With great pride and admiration we laud these honorees who throughout their careers have continually demonstrated grit, determination, an absolute sense of pride, and an indomitable spirit."

The private, invitation-only event will be held at Estiatorio Milos at The Cosmopolitan on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Las Vegas. Acclaimed anchor, producer, and writer Gloria Calzada, who holds the title of being the first VJ in Latin American music, will serve as host.

The Leading Ladies of Entertainment luncheon will be sponsored by Ford Motor Company, Google Pixel 3, Hennessy, Nielsen, and Walmart.

Ford Motor Company is expanding its support of the Latin Recording Academy for this significant event that empowers, inspires, and celebrates women – values that deeply synchronize with the mission and culture of Ford. In addition, Ford has been a long-time supporter and partner of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® through its philanthropic arm, Ford Motor Company Fund, by supporting the Latin GRAMMY® In The Schools education program.

Google will come on board as a sponsor of the 2018 Leading Ladies of Entertainment luncheon, as it unleashes the power of the new Google Pixel 3 throughout Latin GRAMMY® Week. Google Pixel 3 joins in celebrating these women trailblazers who are redefining the future of arts and entertainment.

Hennessy joins as the official cognac sponsor of the event this year as they partner with The Latin Recording Academy to honor outstanding women in entertainment who, much like their brand campaign, Never Stop. Never Settle. They will warmly welcome guests during the luncheon with a signature cocktail featuring products from their brand portfolio.

As a returning second-year sponsor, Nielsen helps advertisers and brands understand the importance of music as a cultural connector between Latinx consumers, one of many insights from Nielsen’s recently released report, Descubrimiento Digital: The Online Lives of Latinx Consumers. According to the report, U.S. Hispanics spend about 32 hours a week with music, but 25% of them also share music video links with family and friends, 40% more than the total population.

Walmart comes on board as a second-year sponsor of the Leading Ladies of Entertainment luncheon where they will be gifting guests as part of their Holiday campaign that focuses on showcasing the top gifts for this Holiday season. They are also celebrating the contributions made by each honoree to their respective entertainment fields and philanthropic efforts.

A portion of the proceeds generated from this event will go towards the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, which has subsidized scholarships for young women interested in studying Latin music at some of the best universities.
