CLEAResult Releases 2023 Sustainability Report, Showcasing 133 Million Metric Tons of CO2 Averted Since 2003

AUSTIN, Texas , April 18 /Businesswire/ - Today CLEAResult, North America’s largest energy efficiency, energy transition and energy sustainability services provider, released its 2023 Sustainability Report, detailing the significant impact of the company’s commitment to emissions-reducing solutions in the U.S. and Canada. Since its founding in 2003, CLEAResult has averted a remarkable 133 million metrics tons of CO2. The report contains comprehensive insights into CLEAResult’s climate impact, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all scopes, and highlights the company’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. CLEAResult reported maintaining a 55% reduction in GHG emissions compared to a 2019 baseline, even as the company experienced double-digit growth, and spent over $43 million with diverse business enterprises, accounting for 19% of total company spend.

In 2023, CLEAResult:

  • Averted 16.5 million metric tons of CO2 through the lifetime impact of 2023 program activity.
  • Saved customers a total of $7 billion on their energy bills through the lifetime impact of all energy saving measures installed in 2023.
  • Increased its diverse business spend to over $43 million across 120 active partners — a 26% increase from 2022.
  • Expanded its best-in-class software suite with CLEAResult ATLAS IRA Home Energy Rebates, a first-to-market solution designed to help state energy offices navigate and administer Inflation Reduction Act programs with ease.
  • Recorded 3,427 employee volunteer hours, a 70% increase over 2022.
  • Raised its employee net promoter score (eNPS) by 19 points compared to 2022.
