NEWNAN, Ga., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta is pleased to welcome Kingsley A. Oladeji, M.D., a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, to its Newnan location. Dr. Oladeji provides comprehensive care for patients with hip and knee arthritis, avascular necrosis, persistent joint pain and complications related to previous joint replacements.
Dr. Oladeji completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Stanford Health Care and an Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Since completing his training, he has been in full-time practice and has performed several hundred primary and revision hip and knee replacement procedures.
His surgical expertise includes primary and complex total hip replacement, including the direct anterior approach; total and partial knee replacement; robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement; outpatient and same-day joint replacement; and revision hip and knee surgery. Dr. Oladeji is trained on three major robotic platforms, Mako, ROSA and CORI, allowing him to select the technology and approach based on each patient’s individual needs.
“Dr. Oladeji brings specialized expertise in hip and knee replacement and a patient-centered approach that reflects his unique experience in both nursing and orthopaedic surgery,” said Michael Ochal, Chief Executive Officer of Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta. “His focus on patient education, personalized treatment and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes makes him a strong addition to our team. We are pleased to welcome him to Newnan and expand access to specialized joint replacement care for patients throughout the community.”
Before attending medical school, Dr. Oladeji worked for four years as a registered nurse, caring for patients in medical-surgical, stroke, telemetry and step-down intensive care units. That experience continues to influence his approach to orthopaedic care. He prioritizes patient education, taking the time to explain diagnoses, treatment options and the recovery process while considering nonoperative approaches when appropriate.
Dr. Oladeji is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Western Orthopaedic Association. His research has focused on topics including joint replacement, periprosthetic joint infections, venous thromboembolic events following knee replacement and outcomes following hip fractures.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Oladeji enjoys hiking, biking, exploring new restaurants and spending time with his wife and young son. He also speaks conversational Yoruba.
Dr. Oladeji is now seeing patients at the Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta Newnan location and is affiliated with Piedmont Newnan Hospital and Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital.
