DC Teleconference on Immigration Reform Tonight

Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) is an issue that is near and dear to many of us and it's next on the political horizon.

Tonight, there will be a major national conference call with Congressman Luis Gutierrez to learn specifics about the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill he will introduce in the coming weeks of 2009. The call is happening to both inform and PUMP UP people across the country to be ready for this big fight, which will start with this bill introduction in the next few weeks. To ensure participation of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, we have been asked by the Reform Immigration for America (RI4A) campaign to ensure that at least 12 AAPI house parties take place on November 18th to participate in the Teleconference and have discussions about actions communities can take to move immigration reform.

Please participate in this important call and learn how you can be involved in our immigration reform efforts. Light refreshments will be served.
