The 2009 America’s Minority Small Business Summit Conference Offers a Stimulus Package to Jump Start South Florida Economy coming up next June 24 in Miami

Offering to Minority Firms resources, valuable business tips, and unparalleled networking opportunities one day, one place!

Miami, Florida.  In 2001, a group of Latino and Afro-Americans formed the Minority Chamber of Commerce in Miami, Florida, to make a stand for equality and first-class local business opportunities. The organization is holding its 2009 America’s Minority Small Business Summit Conference, which began next June 24, 2009 at the Double Tree Hotel Mart Plaza, located at 711 NW 72 Avenue in Miami Dade County,  where an estimated 300 to 500 are expected to attend.  This year the conference will be dedicate to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,  and “decoding the Stimulus of 13.4 billion for Floridians” bill offers potential opportunities for small businesses noting hundreds of construction projects across the state that include water/wastewater, transportation and construction in several sectors, from military facilities to science and healthcare.

The stimulus package was created to help ease the impact of today’s economic downturn on the Small Business in South of Florida. Minority Business firms who attend this one-of-a-kind conference will walk away with a series of seminars, workshops, resources and services to help grow their businesses. “"So we're really gearing up," said Doug Mayorga, National Director of Minority Chamber of Commerce, "and we're getting ready to see what's going to happen when [the funds] come, and, when we get the guidance, which we should get ... in the next month, then we can be ready to..”

Attendees to this year’s 2009 America’s Minority Small Business Summit  Conference will hear all-new content based on what’s working for top, active business in 2009, including ways to capitalize on the opportunities of current markets, learn the implications of contracts for infrastructure projects and credits, understand the impact of the government stimulus package on you and your business, earn money with social media networking, discover the latest industry gadgets that will help you improve your efficiency and generate new business, and much more.
