Website Geared To America’s Historically Black Fraternities Goes Live

Minneapolis, MN, - GreekDiversity.com has launched to provide job opportunities to the alumni and collegiate members of the five historically black fraternities. The GreekDiversity Job Board offers a unique employment solution for fraternity members, the majority of whom are black, male, college graduates and in the segment of the population that has a disproportionately high rate of unemployment compared to white counterparts. The GreekDiversity Job Board welcomes college and alumni members of Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, and Iota Phi Theta to register and search careers and internships from nationwide companies committed to diversity hiring.

America’s historically black fraternities sponsor GreekDiversity.com. Membership spans over 600,000 nationwide with approximately 10,000 new initiates each year. A mainstay in African American society, black fraternities provide ethnic fellowship and initiate changes that effect politics, philanthropy and society as a whole.

“Our fraternity members are excited about supporting the GreekDiversity.com Job Board and using this tool to improve their career potentials. It will also assist our corporate partners to connect with our unique market of qualified and value driven candidates,” said Richard Lee Snow, Executive Director of Kappa Alpha Psi. “We can finally centralize all our efforts to assist our alumni and student population.”

Director of GreekDiversity.com and President of PSI, Michael Hall stated, “We are proud to partner with the fraternities of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. The GreekDiversity Job Board benefits everyone involved: fraternity members seeking new careers, employers desiring diverse talent, and our fraternity partners that share in the Job Board proceeds.”

America’s historically black fraternities are dedicated to making the GreekDiversity Job Board successful and to creating an additional benefit of fraternity membership. GreekDiversity represents an exceptional opportunity for diversity branding and recruiting for employers who share fraternity commitments to education, leadership, and community.
