Yoshinoya Introduces Flavorful New Gyudon Beef and Chicken Ramen Alongside A Refreshed Brand Identity and Modernized Guest Experience
TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Yoshinoya, known for more than a century of crafting satisfying, flavorful bowls, is entering a new chapter with the launch of its new Shoyu Ramen menu and refreshed visual identity. Expanding its signature bowl expertise beyond rice, Yoshinoya is introducing a comforting new option just in time for the fall and winter soup season while bringing a more modern look and feel to the brand.
Launching at all Yoshinoya locations on October 21, the new Shoyu Ramen menu features two flavorful varieties: Gyudon Beef Ramen and Chicken Ramen. More than a new menu item, the launch represents one of Yoshinoya’s most significant menu innovations in recent years and brings the brand’s evolving expression of “The Art of the Bowl” to life.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Yoshinoya and a natural evolution of what we do best: creating delicious, satisfying bowls,” said Paul Nishiyama, CEO of Yoshinoya. “Shoyu Ramen gives us an opportunity to bring our expertise in quality ingredients and comforting flavors to a new format, while giving both our loyal guests and new customers another reason to experience Yoshinoya. At the same time, our refreshed visual identity reflects where we’re headed as a brand and the experience we want to create for today’s guests.”
The new Shoyu Ramen menu builds on Yoshinoya’s longstanding expertise in flavorful bowls, pairing familiar ingredients with a new ramen experience. The Gyudon Beef Ramen, in particular, brings together the beef flavor Yoshinoya guests already know and love.
The menu will be introduced as “Ramen, Meet Gyudon” available in two core formats, with both available in a spicy option:
- Premium Ramen – $11.49 (pricing varies by location)
Shoyu broth, crispy onions and marinated egg, with a choice of Grilled Chicken or Gyudon Beef. - Regular Ramen – $9.99 (pricing varies by location)
Shoyu broth with a choice of Grilled Chicken or Gyudon Beef.
The launch also marks an important evolution for Yoshinoya, with the new menu debuting alongside the brand’s refreshed visual identity and a more modern look and feel. New menu boards, in-store creative, social content, a soon-to-launch website and other consumer-facing touchpoints will begin reflecting the new brand identity, making the ramen launch both a major product introduction and the beginning of the next chapter for Yoshinoya.
“This updated visual identity is designed to create a more cohesive and contemporary guest experience across Yoshinoya’s restaurants and consumer touchpoints, while maintaining the familiarity that longtime guests know and love,” said Nannette Richardson, Vice President of Marketing at Yoshinoya.
The introduction of the Shoyu Ramen and refreshed brand identity opens the door for future expansion as Yoshinoya continues to explore new expressions of its bowl expertise, evolve its menu and modernize the guest experience.
